Lyndsey Gormley is a qualified counsellor who helps children (ages 6+), teenagers, and adults with mental health support. She specialises in trauma therapy, emotional regulation, and building resilience.
Qualifications and Training
Lyndsey holds an MSocSc in Counselling from the University of Hong Kong and a Masters in Psychology from Hong Kong Shue Yan University. She uses proven therapy methods including:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Child-Centred Play Therapy (CCPT)

Experience and Background
As a former School Safeguarding Lead, Lyndsey has extensive experience working with children and young people. She has designed wellbeing programmes and worked with teams to create supportive environments for clients of all ages.
Lyndsey also serves the community as a Board Member for Samaritans Hong Kong and works as a Hotline Counsellor.

Originally from the UK and now based in Hong Kong, Lyndsey brings cultural sensitivity to her work. She is both neurodivergent-affirming and LGBTQ+ affirming, ensuring all clients feel welcomed and supported.
